South Coast Taipans Winter Academy Programs<\/strong><\/p>\n

The South Coast Taipans Futsal Club run a Futsal specific classes for both boys and girls each winter who are looking to improve their technical skills.<\/p>\n

The 20-week program is aimed at players between the ages of 9 to 14 and is a potential pathway to the Taipans Futsal Summer Competition Academy and Representative teams.<\/p>\n

The aim to is to provide the training and educational opportunities to all Football and Futsal players enabling them to develop their skills, individual talent and ability as a player by providing a total holistic approach with our specialised development program.<\/p>\n

We will achieve this by following the player\u2019s development pathway set out by Football Federation Australia and Football NSW. We will provide our players a solid foundation for the future and growth which will benefit Football and Futsal in all areas including player development.<\/p>\n

Our program will focus on four key target areas being Motor Skills, Cognitive Skills, Personal Skills and Social Skills.<\/p>\n

We offer a 20-week program (Monday nights-excludes Public Holidays) Starts Monday 1 May 2017. It is run by accredited coaches and overseen by an AFC level coach so you can be assured that your child will get high quality training and development.<\/p>\n

The cost of the program is $350.00 for 20 weeks of high quality coaching (this includes an academy specific uniform).<\/p>\n

Trials for 2017 Winter Academy are as follows<\/p>\n

Under 9 (Born 2008)
\nTrial date\/time: Monday 10 April (5.00pm \u2013 5.45pm)
\nAcademy venue\/times: Monday\u2019s 5.00pm – 6.00pm @ Cedars Christian College \u2013 starting 1 May<\/p>\n

Under 10 (Born 2007)
\nTrial date\/time: Monday 10 April (5.45pm \u2013 6.30pm)
\nAcademy venue\/times: Monday\u2019s 6.00pm \u2013 7.00pm @ Cedars Christian College \u2013 starting 1 May<\/p>\n

Under 11\/12 (Born 2005-2006)
\nTrial date\/time: Monday 10 April (6.30pm \u2013 7.15pm)
\nAcademy venue\/times: Monday\u2019s 5.00pm-6.00pm, venue to be confirmed \u2013 starts 1 May<\/p>\n

Under 13\/14 (Born 2003-2004)
\nNo trials required – please register interest as below
\nAcademy venue\/times: Monday\u2019s 7.00pm-8.00pm, venue to be confirmed \u2013 starts 1 May<\/p>\n

It should be noted that there is only one trial per age group and numbers are limited to a maximum of 12 per group. Goalkeepers are also welcome to trial.<\/p>\n
